List of National Parks in Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico has two main national parks:

1.San Juan National Historic Site

Highlights:

• Includes historic forts such as Castillo San Felipe del Morro (“El Morro”) and Castillo San Cristóbal, which defended San Juan for centuries.
• A UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Popular activities: Exploring forts, walking along the old city walls, and learning about Puerto Rico’s colonial history.

2. El Yunque National Forest

• Location : Puerto Rico’s Northeast Region, El Yunque National Forest is the only tropical rainforest in the national forest system
