We ended the day in Bar Harbor, grabbing lobster rolls and comparing our hiking battle wounds. The town is exactly what you’d imagine a coastal Maine town to be – charming, a little quirky, with friendly locals who seem totally unfazed by tourists.
Pro tip: Pack way more water than you think you’ll need. And maybe some blister bandages. Trust me on this.
